We're excited to welcome you and your furry friends to the Calm Down Dawg raw pet food shop, located in Christchurch, Dorset, complete with four allocated parking spaces.
Inspired from Wills experience as a Dog Behaviourist, Will and his wife Laura, have seen first hand how diet really does play such a huge part in behaviour modification with dogs, as well as having massive health benefits too! We offer a large range of raw food from different suppliers including minced to whole bones and carcasses. They say that variety is the spice of life and that’s what we ensure your pet gets in their diet.
We also offer a large range of 100% natural dog treats, chews and bones all carefully selected to benefit your dogs health and behaviour, as well as leads, collars and equipment that Will uses in behaviour modification (that actually work) that stop anything from pulling on the lead to anxiety.

Meet The Team
Laura
Laura was the instigator behind setting up the Calm Down Dawg shop being a huge lover of animals and understanding how important diet can be, seen first hand with her & Will's dogs.

When Laura is not running the shop, she is most probably in the New Forest or at the beach, with dogs in tow!
Will
Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma (Distinction)
Qualified Dog First Aider
Will works with many different dog behavioural issues, and always finds it easier to get results with raw fed dogs.
When Will is not with dogs, he can often be found cooking with a glass of wine in hand!
Lucy
Calm Down Dawg's newest recruit, Lucy, provides a helping hand in the shop when times get busy! As a member of the team, Lucy is often on hand to give advice for our furry friends.

Lucy has her hands full elsewhere with a husband, 3 children and 4 dogs, and can often be found in the kitchen!

WHY WE BELIEVE IN RAW DOG FOOD...
Our team are passionate about feeding dogs a correct diet, which we believe to be raw food. Feeding raw not only comes with health benefits to your dog, but countless behaviour benefits too, which is why we now stock a huge range of raw pet food, as well as natural chews and treats that help your pet in different ways.
But why are we so passionate about raw? Put simply, dogs were not designed in the wild to eat processed biscuits (kibble) - their jaws were not structured this way, their digestion was not designed to cater for biscuits and they were not designed to drink so much water, caused from their processed diet.
Working as a behaviourist, Will has seen the dramatic transformation diet can have on a dog. Calming dogs down, improving their dental health, increasing their immune system and controlling weight are just some of the benefits of a BARF diet (Bones And Raw Food).
